The [previous] suit was already a bit old but had been kept in a sealed bag in a dark cabinet, for protection.

I used my boat repair kit. I used my first aid kit. I ran low on water. I paddled in hard wind and rain, and I navigated in fog. I enjoyed the entire trip.
